Reug is one half of the DJ duo reug reug, formed in 2020 together with a longtime friend. The name pays homage to their fav lamb wrestler Oumar Kane, known by his fighting name Reug Reug
His sets blend Baile Funk with club sounds from the African diaspora including Zouglou, Kuduro, Funaná, Mbalax and Coupé-Décalé combined with atmospheric elements and percussive intensity.
Based in Zurich, Reug has performed both locally and in Rio de Janeiro.

His favorite artist is DJ Arafat.
