endlossounds: THY

THY is an artist based in Basel, CH and usually works with spatial-sound-installations and sculptures. Their sound production are complement to their artistic practice, all rooted in story-telling and strips of memory, moods swings. A blend of fieldrecording, texts and vocals. THY’s DJ sets focus on the emotional friction between soft and rough tones, deconstructed and experimental sounds – all done by subtly intertwining different genres, drawing the narrative throughout soundlandscapes with a trace of background TV noise.
