In the final episode of this session, "The Endless Passage: Forever Refugee", we will have intimate conversations about the profound challenges and creative resilience born from displacement. We will also discuss the generational impacts of forced migration, imposed identity and ancestral rooted connectivities in the context. These conversations will begin with resistance, systemic power dynamics and the paradoxes of living in conditional spaces, and will arrive at joy and communion. Featuring Sister Emma Cupin, the first Filipino Political Assylum, Missionary Nun for the rural poor and Community Organizer working for migrants, Reya Morgado , a transgender artist, writer and activist, and Siavash Namehshiri, a musician, activist and curator, this episode will challenge stereotypes, reveal the complexities of integration and shed light on the public gaze that frames the lives of refugees.
