The space outside the operahouse tunrs into a temporary dancefloor
As part of a conference about the futures that have been stolen, we invite to a practice of forgetting. Which, whatever it is, the art of remembering how to dance, a dance no matter what: among rain, hail, dust and broken promises. Take your headphones and go dance outside. If you are too shy to dance alone in a public space, take a friend with you. But please keep your distance and wear your mask at all times.
The silent dancing plague (choreomania) swept across Europe during the darkest times in modern history, a phenomenon still unexplained. This participatory proposal is a tribute to the ones for whom dancing was - and still is - the only option to stay alive, even in the most hopeless times.
